2004 Gurukul—Kerala Trip with Komilla Sutton

Upcoming Inda Trip 2020

Navaratri - The Nine Nights of Goddess Temples

Chandigarh, Palampur & Dharamshala

16 to 26 October 2020

This trip is dedicated to Navaratri, the nine nights of the goddess. We will celebrate this by visiting many temples dedicated to the goddess in the lower Himalayas and spend this sacred time with their blessings. We will also visit the Dalai Lama temple in Mcleod Ganj and Dharamsala, Palampur, Jwalamukhi, Chintpurni, Naina Devi, Kangra Devi. Chandi Mata, Mansa Devi, Chandigarh. We will visit the prominent Shakti temples of North India known as the seven sister goddesses, namely Mata Mansa Devi, Naina Devi, Jawalamukhi, Chintpurni Devi, Brajeshwari Devi, Chamunda Devi and Jayanti Devi.

This is a fantastic opportunity to visit some of the most sacred goddess temples and shakti peetha. According to the puranic Katha, the body parts of Devi Sati fell at different places which are considered as Shakti Peethas. Shakti Peethas are holy shrines of Shakti. There are 51 Shakti Peetha associated with the 51 alphabets in Sanskrit.

Komilla has a connection to many of these temples so we will meet the priests and experience this unique energy in a close and personal way. We will do rituals, pujas, and prayer ceremonies during this pilgrimage – these costs will be shared where we do a group program. You also need to give Dakshina to the priests who perform the rituals.

The trip begins and ends in New Delhi - Flights from many international destinations land in New Delhi.
